I have never seen Django Unchained…

…and don’t plan to see it anytime soon because I can wait until it comes on cable TV or something. But I think what is more disgusting than Tarantino, a white Italian man, making a slave movie, is the number of House Negroes that attacked Spike Lee and went to Tarantino’s defense. I swear, Negroes nowadays are so damn yeast infection-itching to feel validated by white people especially those in power. Spike ain’t said nothing too different than what he has said in the past. Yes, Spike has been coming off super bitter these days (maybe it’s old age), but Black people are always downing Black filmmakers and their ventures. But let a Captain Save-A-Negro come and make an epic slave or Black history film, we all want to jump on the bandwagon because we just love white folks that fawn over Black culture.

It’s the same with Kim Kardashian.

It was the same with Bill Clinton (when Black people “jokingly” referred to him as the first Black president)

It was the same with Mae West; the old Hollywood vixen who embraced African-American entertainment and, my Lordy, did Black folks kiss that woman’s ass.

All the Black people that bashed everyone who did not agree with Django or just wasn’t interested and took up for Tarantino, are like desperate peasants waiting for the king to throw bread crumbs so they can say that, “The King Loves Me!”
